kand.is lamps was founded to showcase the lamps resulting from about four years of work.
The main themes of my work are the use of readily available materials, often treated as garbage, and using them in unconventional ways. Other motivators are simple geometric shapes, the generation of patterns through repetition of forms or re-interpreting old types of lamps using new materials.
The lamps and light objects that are the result of these ideas are documented here, grouped roughly by the kind of material used.
